Our Mission is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in the lives of individuals through local and virtual avenues, meeting spiritual needs while attending emotional, relational , and physical requirements, reflecting the love and grace of God, to those within this body, our community, and throughout the world.
Today, under one collective identity, we can enthusiastically lift up that the UCC is a welcoming, justice-minded Christian community. At a time when religion is too often portrayed as narrow-minded and exclusive, many are raising their voices for a just and peaceful world.
Historical Reflection In 1967, worship services began in a rented storefront at W. Oakland Park. Later that year the congregation moved their worship service into a clubhouse at Village Mobile Homes. Groundbreaking on the present site was held in June, 1970 for what was to be the first church of any denomination to be built in the City of Tamarac FL.
Twenty-five years later, the congregation of FAITH Church voted unanimously to build the new sanctuary, which was dedicated on March 8, 1998. True to the Congregational Church’s roots in New England of early America, a UCC church in Worcester, Massachusetts donated the antique alter pieces and the 100 year old stained glass windows that were incorporated into the design.
